Services Update

We have received directive from the Governor's Office
of Faith Based Initiatives that places of worship are able to hold
services. Governor DeWine has requested that we comply
with the recommendations that the assembly of the public
should be limited to 50 individuals or less. New Beginning's
capacity allows for compliance with the Governor's request.
Therefore unless otherwise directed by authorities...New
Beginning beginning this week will hold Sunday Worship
Service beginning at 9:00 am at the church.

is Saturday, May 16th, 9:00 am - 11:00 am.

New Beginning’s History

OUR MINISTRY

New Beginning was founded in 1994 by Pastors Charles and Ann Leister. After pastoring on the road in Cleveland, Ohio and Plain City, Ohio working to establish two new works, God placed within Pastor Charles the vision for a new ministry in their home city of Columbus, Ohio.

OUR PASTORS

Ann Leister gave her life to the Lord in 1966 and was called to the ministry in 1976. She stands firm on the Word of God and how He has delivered her from sin. Preaching that Jesus is still setting people free today. Ann was ordained in 1982 and assigned to the Evangelist Board of the Church of the Living God.
Pastor Ann has served in many capacities within the church in the choir, Sunday school, missionary departments, and district elder. Her ministry is especially to the broken hearted and those rejected by others.

OUR MISSION

We are a born again, Spirit filled Body of Believers compelled to seek out those in need knowing that in Christ they to can have a new beginning. This genesis in our lives by faith empowers us to dare to subdue kingdoms, work righteousness, and obtain promises since the old is gone and the new is come.

To build a community of believers who through exceptional worship, intense prayer and rich Word make disciples who turn their world upside down.

OUR VISION

It is the dream of a place where the hurting, the depressed, the frustrated, and the confused can find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance, and encouragement.

It is the dream of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with hundreds of thousands of residents of Central Ohio.

It is the dream of welcoming 2,000 members into the fellowship of our church family - loving, learning, laughing, and living in harmony together.

It is the dream of developing people to spiritual maturity through Bible studies, small groups, seminars, retreats, and conferences for our members and community at large.

It is the dream of equipping every believer for a significant ministry by helping them discover the gifts and talents God has invested in them.
